Bohumil Pečinka (born 1967, Boskovice) is a Czech political commentator, publicist and author. He studied social sciences at Charles University alongside history and political science, co-founded the fortnightly Studentské listy in 1989, and spent most of his career at the weekly Reflex, serving as deputy editor-in-chief from 2016 to 2022. In 1999 he received the Ferdinand Peroutka journalism award. Since 2021 he has co-hosted the podcast Kecy & politika with Petros Michopulos, one of the most-listened-to Czech political podcasts, which the duo also performs live across the country.
In June 2025, Pečinka ended his collaboration with Týdeník Echo magazine and Echo24.cz website to fully focus on the Kecy & politika podcast.
In July 2025, a major live event of the podcast called Independence Day took place in Prague, where Mňága a Žďorp also performed.
The Kecy & politika podcast ranked in the top 10 most listened to Czech podcasts in 2025 according to the Spotify Wrapped ranking.
At the beginning of 2024, Pečinka moved from Reflex to Týdeník Echo magazine, where he worked as a domestic political commentator on a part-time basis.
