BEHEMOTH

About

Behemoth are a Polish blackened death metal band from Gdańsk, founded in 1991 by frontman Adam 'Nergal' Darski, who remains the sole original member. Over three decades they evolved from raw black metal into one of extreme metal's most theatrical and uncompromising acts, with albums like Demigod (2004) and The Satanist (2014) earning widespread critical acclaim. In May 2025 they released their thirteenth studio album, The Shit Ov God, via Nuclear Blast Records, to strong reviews.
