Beartooth is an American rock band from Columbus, Ohio, founded in 2012 by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Caleb Shomo - initially as a solo studio project before expanding into a full band. Sitting at the crossroads of metalcore, alternative metal and post-hardcore, the group is known for candid lyrics about mental health and self-acceptance. Six albums in, the band has surpassed one billion streams and earned a spot on Rolling Stone's '10 Artists You Need to Know' list.
Beartooth announced their sixth studio album Pure Ecstasy (release August 28, 2026) on the new label Fearless Records and a European tour - including a stop in Prague (September 24, 2026, SaSaZu).
The band released the single "Free" - their first recording under Fearless Records - and subsequently announced a fall tour across the USA with guests Don Broco, Magnolia Park, and Windwaker.
In September 2024, a deluxe edition of the album The Surface was released with seven new tracks, including the single "ATTN."
The North American leg of The Surface Tour sold out - the band sold a record 78,000 tickets across more than 40 shows.
Beartooth released their fifth studio album The Surface (October 13, 2023), which debuted at number one on the Billboard Alternative and Hard Music charts.
