Axel Dörner is a German trumpeter working in free improvisation and experimental music. He is known for pushing the sonic boundaries of the trumpet through multiphonics, noise and extended techniques. He has collaborated with many leading European improvisers and is a member of the trio Toot alongside Phil Minton and Thomas Lehn.
