About

Ars Brunensis is a mixed choir based in Brno, Czech Republic, founded in 1979. While its core repertoire centres on Baroque music, the ensemble also takes on jazz, folk and musical theatre with equal enthusiasm. Over more than four decades it has contributed to over twenty CD recordings and built a long-running creative partnership with composer Vladimír Franz, recording his incidental music for leading Czech theatres since 1997. Eduard Kostelník has served as artistic director since 2025.
