Jaromír 99, born Jaromír Švejdík in 1963, is a Czech visual artist, musician and lyricist from Jeseník. Together with Jaroslav Rudiš he drew the comic trilogy Alois Nebel and co-created its animated film adaptation, which won a European Film Academy Award. As a musician he co-founded the cult band Priessnitz and also performs with Letní kapela and Kafka Band. His solo comic Bomber earned him the Muriel Award, and his adaptation of Kafka's The Castle was nominated for an Eisner Award.
