Affected

About

Affected is a Czech thrash/heavy metal band from Miroslav in South Moravia, formed around 2020. They recorded their debut album at a Brno studio in 2021 and have since been pushing their sound toward groove and death metal, citing Gojira, Pantera and Lamb of God as key influences. In 2022 they launched their own festival, Affection fest, in their home town.

In 2022, the band organized the first edition of their own metal festival Affection fest in Miroslav.

In autumn 2021, drummer Viktor Jaroš joined Affected, completing the band's permanent four-member lineup.

At the end of May 2021, the band recorded their debut album in one weekend at the George Lukase recording studio in Brno.
