5P is a Czech rock band built around singer Luboš Pospíšil, one of the most distinctive voices on the Czech scene since the 1980s. The band was originally formed in the early 1980s and relaunched in 2007 with a younger generation of musicians led by keyboardist and bandleader Ondřej Fencl. Their trademark is tight multi-part vocal harmonies and a relentless touring schedule of around eighty concerts a year. The 2014 album Soukromá elegie earned a Supraphon gold record, and Pospíšil was inducted into the Beatová síň slávy (Czech Rock Hall of Fame) in 2017.
