The band of the 35th Pilsen Infantry Regiment FOLIGNO was founded in 2002 by retired Colonel Otakar Lichtenberg and Pilsen Conservatory professor Jiří Žurek, stepping in after the local garrison orchestra was disbanded. The ensemble keeps military music traditions alive through memorial ceremonies, festivals across the Czech Republic and abroad, and regular promenade concerts in Pilsen's city parks. It has been inscribed on the Register of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Pilsen Region.
