Giles Corey

Giles Corey - Born To Be Alone Tour 2027 comes to Bike Jesus in Prague on January 30, 2027. Giles Corey is the folk-inspired solo project of Dan Barrett, co-founder of Have a Nice Life, and this tour marks his first-ever solo run under the project name.

The set draws from the self-titled debut album Giles Corey (2011), built on a single rule: acoustic instruments only. Within that constraint, Barrett assembled guitars, piano, ethereal choirs, organs, field recordings, and sudden walls of sound around an intimate singer-songwriter core. The songs move through depression, death, history, and paranormal phenomena - quiet despair giving way to cathartic outbursts, personal confession opening into something shared. The album and its accompanying book have built a devoted following who often describe the experience as ritualistic. The Prague show will also feature brand-new material performed live for the first time.

These are Giles Corey's first concerts since a handful of performances in 2023. Barrett will perform entirely on his own, his voice and acoustic instruments paired with electronics and arrangements that shift from near-whispers to an almost physical sonic impact.

Tickets start at 470 CZK (plus ticket seller fees), on sale via Ticketmaster from September 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
