About the venue

Zvíkov Castle rises on a rocky promontory above the confluence of the Otava and Vltava rivers. Its core dates to the 13th century, making it one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Bohemia. Today it functions as a museum and hosts open-air theatre performances, concerts and civil ceremonies.
