Prague

About the venue

Pěvecký spolek Hlahol is one of the oldest Czech choral societies, founded in 1861. It is based in a neo-Renaissance building on Masarykovo nábřeží, designed by architect Antonín Wiehl, with a facade decorated by sgraffiti from Mikoláš Aleš. The choir holds concerts of classical and choral music, and the building also serves as a cultural and social venue.
