About the venue

Baroque château about 10 km south-west of Kroměříž, built up from a 16th-century Renaissance manor. The Jesuits remodelled it in the 1660s and installed a chapel on the first floor. Now in private hands and under gradual restoration, the estate hosts weddings, the summer Zdounecké arkády music festival and Advent concerts. The freely accessible English landscape park, together with the baroque granary and game reserve, is a listed cultural monument.
