About the venue

A classicist château with late-baroque features, standing in the middle of the village of Uhřice about 14 km west of Kroměříž. A fortified manor on this site is recorded as early as 1336; the building took its current form after a fire in 1791, when a second floor with a mansard roof and a clock turret was added. The château is surrounded by a farm complex and a park, and includes a restored chapel. After 1989 it fell into serious disrepair, and a rescue restoration was only launched by a new private owner after 2003.
