About the venue

Ploskovice château is a baroque residence in northern Bohemia, built in the 18th century to designs by the Italian architect Octavio Broggio. Its interiors feature ceiling frescoes, and the building is set within a large English-style park. The château served as a summer retreat for the Habsburg family, including Emperor Ferdinand V, and is now open to the public as a state-managed monument.
