Září
A performance of Září takes place at Zámek Napajedla.
The late Baroque Napajedla Castle was built between 1764 and 1769 to designs by Brno architect František Antonín Grimm and remains one of the town's most prominent landmarks. The U-shaped building rises over three floors with more than fifty rooms, its interior centred on a striking circular mirror hall. A park of roughly ten hectares with rare trees and a small pond surrounds the complex. The castle passed through the hands of the Rottál, Kobenzl, Stockau and Baltazzi families - Aristides Baltazzi founded a celebrated English thoroughbred stud here in 1886. The estate is now a protected cultural monument in private ownership.
