A Renaissance château built in 1585 by Jan Popel the Younger of Lobkowicz on the site of an older medieval structure. From 1594 it served as a royal hunting residence, and around the turn of the 18th century it was remodelled in the Baroque style, most likely by Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer. After 1945 the building fell into disrepair and was used as an agricultural school and later a vegetable warehouse. The city of Králův Dvůr bought it back in 2011 and has been restoring it since; today it hosts concerts and cultural events, and a ceremonial hall with uncovered frescoes.
