About the venue
Dobříš Château is an 18th-century baroque palace about 40 km south of Prague, modelled on French royal residences. After World War II it served as the headquarters of the Czechoslovak Writers' Union - a chapter of Czech literary history. Today the château hosts cultural events, exhibitions and weddings, and its French-style garden is open to visitors.
