About the venue

The open-air amphitheatre sits in the castle park of the State Château Dačice. The English landscape park was designed in 1817 by architect Michael Riedl for Karl Dalberg - it covers 10 hectares and includes a pond with a small island. Each summer the stage hosts open-air concerts, film screenings and other cultural events. The entrance is from Ulice V Kaštanech, between the hospital and the park.
