VědaFest
VědaFest is an interactive science festival at Vítězné náměstí in Prague, with experiments, exhibitions, and talks for all ages.
Vítězné náměstí, nicknamed Kulaťák ("Roundie"), is a horseshoe-shaped square on the border of Dejvice and Bubeneč in Prague 6. It was laid out in 1925 to a design by architect Antonín Engel, though his ambitious plan for the whole district was only partly realised due to the economic crisis of the 1930s. The square is also a major transport hub, with tram lines crossing it and the Dejvická metro station below. Plans are underway to transform it into a pedestrian space for markets, cultural events, and public gatherings.
