Únětice Brewery

Únětice

About the venue

A small private brewery in the village of Únětice near Prague, with a history going back to 1710 - the year is carved into a stone pillar in the former malt threshing floor. After decades of forced closure, the brewery reopened in June 2011 and produces bottom-fermented beer by traditional methods without chemical additives. The site includes a taproom with a restaurant and summer garden; free brewery tours run on weekends. The brewery also hosts regular events throughout the year, from Shrovetide to a harvest festival and Christmas market.
