Gothic Window from Jerlochovic
An exhibition featuring a rare Gothic window fragment from a historic church, part of a project revealing the cultural heritage of Fulnek and the surrounding region.
Museum in the former Brethren congregation complex in Fulnek, declared a national cultural monument in 1962. The permanent exhibition Na prahu vichřice (On the Threshold of the Storm), opened in 2021 after a full reconstruction, presents Jan Amos Komenský as the townspeople of this Moravia-Silesia border town knew him in 1618-1621 - as a priest, congregation administrator, and school rector. Traditional exhibits are combined with video mapping, projections, and period music. The Gothic chapel also hosts cultural events, theatre performances, and lectures.
