About the venue

Strahov Library forms part of the Strahov Monastery of the Premonstratensians and ranks among the finest historical libraries on the continent. Its two baroque halls - the Theological and the Philosophical - are lined with original wooden shelving and decorated with ceiling frescoes. The collection holds over 200,000 volumes, and the library is open to visitors as a museum.
