State Castle Bezděz

Bezděz

About the venue

Bezděz State Castle is one of the best-preserved Gothic castles in Bohemia, built in the 13th century under King Přemysl Otakar II on top of a basalt hill of the same name. The castle once held Kunigunde of Hungary as a prisoner and today draws visitors with its intact medieval architecture and sweeping views over the Česká Lípa region.
