About the venue

Smetana Hall is the main concert hall inside the Municipal House (Obecní dům), a landmark Art Nouveau building completed in 1912. Named after composer Bedřich Smetana, it serves as the principal venue of the Prague Spring International Music Festival and regularly hosts symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles. The richly decorated interior is one of the finest examples of Czech Art Nouveau.
