About the venue

A civic association founded in 1996 to rescue and restore the Gothic fortress and manor complex in Dobrš, along with other local heritage buildings. It organises exhibitions at the CoCo gallery, lectures, symposia and the annual International Music Festival Dobršská brána, whose concerts take place at various spots around the village - in the churches, the fortress grounds and the hall of a former inn. The association's broader aim is to revive the social role of the complex and link it to art, music and education.
