About the venue

Skiareál Šachty sits on the edge of Vysoké nad Jizerou along a gentle ridge between the Krkonoše and Jizerské hory ranges. In winter it offers over 4 km of pistes at varying difficulty levels, three ski tows and two children's lifts, with snowmaking covering 90 % of the slopes. Evening skiing runs on two trails totalling 1,200 metres. The resort also has a ski school, equipment rental and a restaurant that stays open year-round.
