Vesec Recreation and Sports Complex

Liberec

About the venue

The Vesec Recreational and Sports Complex is a multi-purpose sports area on the southeastern edge of Liberec, covering approximately 70 hectares at an altitude of 400–460 m. It was built for the 2009 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, with construction starting in 2006 and completed in 2008. Year-round it offers paved tracks for cycling and inline skating; in winter, groomed cross-country ski trails and a 200-metre oval are available. The complex also features one of the oldest disc golf courses in the Czech Republic, with 12 holes.
