REC Group s.r.o. (Recycling Ecological Centre) is based on the grounds of a former sugar factory in Staré Město near Uherské Hradiště. Founded in 1998, the company brings together several subsidiaries focused on waste collection, sorting and processing. The site is home to KOVOZOO - an open-air exhibition of over 300 life-size animals welded from scrap metal, considered the only one of its kind in Europe. Visitors can also explore the Šrotík lighthouse tower, the ship Naděje, an L-610 aircraft, the Steelinka train and a terrarium with exotic animals.
