DesignBlok 2026: Škoda Sketching Session
An interactive workshop led by Škoda Auto designers where participants learn automotive sketching techniques and explore how new vehicles are designed.
Průmyslový palác (Industrial Palace) is the centrepiece of the Výstaviště Praha exhibition grounds in Holešovice. The Art Nouveau steel-and-glass structure was built in 1891 by architect Bedřich Münzberger and engineer František Prášil for the Jubilee Land Exhibition - the first prefabricated steel-and-glass construction in the Czech lands. The tower above the central hall rises to 51 metres. After a 2008 fire destroyed the left wing, a major reconstruction began in February 2022; reopening is planned for autumn 2026. The palace hosts exhibitions, balls, concerts and other cultural events.
