About the venue

The natural swimming area at Novorolský rybník sits on the western edge of Nová Role, a short distance from Karlovy Vary. The 20-hectare pond is fed by the Vlčí potok stream and serves both recreation and fish farming. A sandy beach with a gently sloping entry makes it family-friendly; the site has a restaurant, a snack bar and changing facilities. The forested surroundings are good for hiking and cycling, while the water draws surfers and anglers. Admission is free.
