About the venue

The natural amphitheatre sits on a hillside above the entrance to Terezské valley, close to the château in Náměšť na Hané. Its covered stage served for fourteen years as the main venue of the multi-genre Zahrada festival, which drew up to thirty thousand visitors each summer. After the festival ended, the site was renovated and is now used mainly for open-air theatre performances and other summer events organised by the municipality.
