Amateur Jump Tour - Prague
The largest Czech amateur show-jumping series returns to Prague with a four-day programme featuring competitions for all age groups, from children to adult riders, with both hobby and professional classes.
The Velká Chuchle racecourse (Chuchle Arena Praha) has stood on the left bank of the Vltava at the southern edge of Prague since 28 September 1906, making it the country's leading flat-racing venue. Flat and harness races run from April to October, with the Czech Derby in June as the season's centrepiece. The site also has a place in aviation history - in 1911 Jan Kašpar landed here after the first long-distance flight from Pardubice to Prague. Today the arena hosts showjumping events, a Riding Academy and on-site accommodation.
