Podskalská celnice na Výtoni

Prague

About the venue

The Podskalí customs house at Výtoň is one of the few surviving buildings from Prague's old Podskalí district, once home to raftsmen and river traders. The Renaissance structure dates to the 16th century and served as a toll station for Vltava river traffic. Today it operates as a branch of the Museum of the City of Prague, with a permanent exhibition on timber rafting and river trade.
