Štefánik Observatory has stood on Petřín Hill since 1928, named after Slovak astronomer and general Milan Rastislav Štefánik. Visitors can observe the sky through telescopes, attend lectures, and join school programmes. In 2022 it was modernised and rebranded under the Planetum umbrella, together with the Prague Planetarium.
