About the venue

Pivovar Rohozec in Malý Rohozec near Turnov has been brewing continuously since Ferdinand Unger founded it in 1850. The complex includes a château dating from 1640, rebuilt in the 19th century in a pseudo-Renaissance style. From April to September the brewery runs guided Saturday tours through the brewhouse, fermentation cellar and lagering vaults, finishing with a tasting straight from the tank. Beer is brewed using water from the brewery's own springs and traditional methods that have been kept alive here ever since.
