About the venue

Petrov - Plže is a village heritage reserve on the south-western edge of the Bílé Karpaty Protected Landscape Area, made up of around 80 wine cellars built from the 15th century onwards. The cellars, with their characteristic blue-and-white facades in the folk-baroque style, form a street-like layout with two small squares. In 1983 the site became the first declared folk-architecture reserve in the Czech Republic. The upper square, known as Kolečko, hosts folk and wine festivals every summer - including a wine exhibition, Winemakers' Day and the Petrovský kotlík event.

The grounds are freely accessible year-round
