About the venue

Pchery is a village in Kladno District, Central Bohemian Region, about 5 km north of Kladno and 21 km northwest of Prague. The first written record dates to 1222. The landmark Church of Saint Stephen, documented since 1352, was enlarged into a three-nave Baroque building in 1706. Chess grandmaster Oldřich Duras was born in the local part of Humny in 1882.
