Skála Park, Koloděje

Prague

About the venue

Park Skála was created by reclaiming a former quarry and landfill on the southern edge of Koloděje. An artificial hill (around 310 m above sea level) is crowned by a wooden sculpture called Trojmezí, carved by Jaroslav Eduard Dvořák in 2011 to mark the meeting point of three cadastral districts. On a clear day the hilltop offers a panoramic view stretching to Říp, Bezděz, Ještěd and even Sněžka. The park is freely accessible, has outdoor fitness elements, and hosts occasional events such as children's days and open-air cinema.
