NP Podyjí – Pod Šobesem

Hnanice

About the venue

An outdoor venue by a tourist shelter and suspension footbridge over the Dyje river in the southeastern corner of Podyjí National Park, about 15 km south of Znojmo. The 70-metre Šobeská lávka was originally built as part of communist-era border surveillance and rebuilt in its current form after the 2002 floods. The site sits directly below the renowned Šobes vineyard, ranked among the ten best wine-growing locations in Europe. Occasional open-air events are held here, including jazz matinées with wine and picnic baskets.
