Summer School of Nuclear Engineering
A summer school in nuclear engineering for students and professionals working in the nuclear energy sector.
The New CTU Building (internally T9) stands in Thákurova Street in the Dejvice campus, filling the last vacant plot in the layout drawn up by Prof. Antonín Engel in 1924. Since 2011 it has housed the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Information Technology of CTU. The building was designed by architect Alena Šrámková, whose entry won the 2004 competition; construction was completed in 2010. The monolithic reinforced-concrete structure has eight above-ground floors; the facade combines brick cladding with exposed concrete, while the lecture-hall blocks are clad in coloured enamelled shingles.
