To Nechory into the Cellar 2026
Weekend wine-tasting event in the unique village of Nechory with 21 open cellars showcasing local wines.
Nechory is a one-of-a-kind hamlet about a kilometre from Prušánky, made up entirely of wine cellars - nobody lives here permanently, and every building exists solely for producing and storing wine. More than 450 cellars now stand here, together forming a small square and a network of lanes. The area is split into Dolní (Lower) and Horní (Upper) Nechory and sits in the Slovácko wine sub-region, midway between Hodonín and Břeclav. Traditional events held throughout the year include the zarážení hory ceremony, an open-cellar day, and a costumed harvest festival.
