Exhibition of Garden Mechanization
An exhibition exploring the history and evolution of gardening machinery and agricultural mechanization.
The Čáslav branch of the National Agricultural Museum occupies a former 1950s military vehicle depot in the Filipov district. Spread across more than 2,200 m², it holds one of Europe's largest collections of agricultural machinery - tractors, combine harvesters, historical ploughs and rare prototypes that never reached serial production. The permanent exhibition "Dřinu strojům? Dřinu strojům!" traces the mechanisation of farming from early tools to 20th-century machines. The museum opens from April to October and hosts the popular annual Pradědečkův traktor show.
