About the venue

Šumava National Park, established in 1991, is the largest protected area in the Czech Republic. It stretches along the borders with Germany and Austria, covering over 680 km² of wilderness - peat bogs, mountain spruce forests and glacial lakes. The village of Stožec sits right inside the park and is a popular starting point for hiking and cycling routes.
