About the venue

Konopiště Castle near Benešov is a Gothic fortress reshaped over the centuries into its current neo-Gothic and Baroque form, now administered by the National Heritage Institute. It is best known as the favoured residence of Archduke Franz Ferdinand d'Este, whose vast collections of arms and hunting trophies are still on display across several tour routes. The grounds include an English landscape park, a rose garden, and a bear moat.
