The Náplavka on Rašínovo nábřeží is an open public space along the right bank of the Vltava, stretching from Výtoň below the Vyšehrad rock to Jiráskův Bridge. The embankment was built in two stages between 1870 and 1905 and once served as the main dock of the Prague Steamship Company. The renovated kobky - former ice-storage vaults set into the embankment wall - now hold cafés, galleries and workshops. A farmers' market takes place every Saturday, with concerts, festivals and food events throughout the year.
