Lednice Railway Station

Lednice

About the venue

The railway station building in Lednice dates from 1901 and was designed by Liechtenstein architect Carl Weinbrenner. The historicist two-storey structure, built from stone and glazed bricks made at the Liechtenstein brickworks in Poštorná, was listed as a cultural monument in 1958. Regular service on the Břeclav line ended in 2003; historic trains still run here on weekends during the summer season.
