Am I There Yet?
A group exhibition examining parenthood in its various forms and how it has evolved over the past decade alongside social change.
The Museum of Art and Design Benešov (MUD*) occupies a Jugendstil building of the former District Economic Savings Bank, built in 1904-1905 to designs by local builder Marcel Dusil. Founded in 1990 as the Gallery of Fine Arts, it now holds over 13,900 collection items focused on visual art and design from 1945 to the present. Its emphasis on design sets it apart from other regional galleries in Central Bohemia. The ground floor houses a café with a reading room and a courtyard with a small sculpture display; the museum also runs lectures, concerts, film screenings and art workshops.
