Full Throttle! - an exhibition with the scent of petrol for young and old
An exhibition of racing car and vintage vehicle models at the Dr. Aleš Hrdlička Museum. For car enthusiasts, technology lovers and model-makers.
The Museum of Dr. Aleš Hrdlička occupies a former school building on Horní náměstí and is one of the oldest museums in the Vysočina region, founded in 1895. It is named after the world-renowned anthropologist and Humpolec native Aleš Hrdlička. Permanent exhibitions cover anthropology with interactive elements, 19th-century folk life in the Humpolec area, a dedicated Hrdlička section with a Native American village, and a puppet collection. A brand-new ethnographic exhibition opened in October 2025.
