Mutějovice is a Central Bohemian village of around 800 inhabitants, situated in a traditional hop-growing area on the edge of the Džbán nature park, 15 km from Rakovník. Written records go back to the 14th century. Local life revolves around community associations, the village library and the family-run PodDžbánský pivovar brewery, which regularly hosts live music evenings and larger open-air festivals.
